Thank you Amber! I, for one, have been conditioned to give love and receive it conditionally. But God has been doing a work in me! Praise HIM. I love you dear niece.
Aunt Karen, thank you for sharing your experience. I am so grateful God is going a work in you as God has also been doing in me. Learning to love takes a lifetime and beyond, and it's the most important thing we can do. I love you.
YES to you, your heart, and what you shared! Thank you, Amber. I especially dig your hermeneutic of grace. I think Protestants were spot on to emphasize the importance of grace and faith; but they/we failed to go far enough with it. As in we didn't name, and realize, that grace is endless and 100% free and available to everyone. Always. "All" we need do to receive it is surrender; fall into its warm embrace. And as I leaned into your vision, and tasted God's goodness, it occurred to me that surrender is a synonym for faith. What do you think?
I think you're right, Dr. Charters. I would also put "trust" in there too. It takes a lot of trust in God to come as we are and expect to be welcomed and loved. You are an incredible example of someone who practices this as well as preaches it. Thank you for your light in my life.

Surrender to Grace! The most beautiful words I've heard and ingested in a long time.
Kathy, may we both jump in together!

Thank you, Dr. Jones. 🥰🫶🏽 I'm fully with you on "trust" being an essential element too, well said.
